Congratulations! You now have created your 5 best videos, you've sent in your signed application form with your uploaded your videos but you still have a few questions. This FAQ's page will help - Please read this page thoroughly before you contact us with your questions.

ATTENTION: It may take up to 24-48 hours for us to review, approve & upload your approved video(s) to @CasaCreadores' Tiktok (the main competition site). Please be patient - We are most likely overwhelmed with the incoming volume of applicants which slows the upload time.

 

• I received my "application accepted" email but I only see my video on TikTok - it's not posted on the other Casa Creadores social media pages yet.

Excellent, that means your video is officially online and it is already LIVE and receiving views on TikTok (our primary site for the competition). Keep checking in on the other pages and it should show up soon.

 

If your submitted video is not showing up on TikTok yet - Please be patient as we are working as quickly as possible to review, approve and upload all videos ASAP but sometimes there are delays and glitches. If you still don't see your video(s) on TikTok within 48 hours after applying, then contact us at casacreadores@gmail.com subject line "GLITCH" and we will get to your requests in the order they were received. In your email - Clearly state your name and your video's title and attach it to the email.

 

[Please keep in mind, TikTok is the primary deciding factor on views, likes and shares which will elevate your chances of becoming a finalist. Don't worry if your video isn't on Instagram or Youtube yet - we will circle back after all applicants are posted on TikTok first.]

 

• Do I need to complete all areas of the application? 

 

Yes, and double check that your contact info is correct! All areas of the application must be filled out completely to participate in the competition especially if you are under 18 years old upon applying. If you are over 18 years old, then simply put an "X" in that section.

 

• I am under 16 years old, do I need my parents permission?

 

Yes, all minors under 18 years old must fill out the parental permission section and must include a parent or guardian's current contact information. If you become a finalist, your parent/guardian will have to confirm their permission in person or over the phone so you can receive your prize.

 

• I uploaded all 5 videos to 1 application but the page said something went wrong.

 

It's best to upload one video at a time especially if the files are large. Be sure to wait until the video uploads completely before you press send. We recommend sending no more than 2 videos at a time -which means you will need to fill out the application again for each video submission.

 

• I accidentally shot my video horizontally (not vertically), can I still submit it?

 

Yes you can still submit a horizontal video. Although from our experience, it has a better chance of success posted as a vertically shot video.

 

• I uploaded 6+ videos instead of just 5 - will all 6+ videos be accepted?

 

Only the first 5 videos received per participant will be considered for the official competition. Additional videos that are submitted may be uploaded and viewed on Casa Creadores TikTok page, but please note: ONLY the first 5 videos we receive (per participant), will be considered for the prizes.

 

• What if my sister wants to apply separately?

 

Great, no problem. Each applicant is allowed 5 videos uploaded in connection to their email address & phone. So as long as each family member (10 years old and older) applies with a separate email address & phone, they will be accepted into the competition.

 

• The video I just submitted has also been posted on my social media page for the past month or longer. If I delete it from my page can it be considered for the competition?

 

No, all videos must never before been posted online . All eligible videos can not previously been posted on any social media sites before or after submitting the video to the competition. Please note: if you are being considered as a top 20 finalist, and your video is found on any other social media sites (posted by you), you will be immediately disqualified and eliminated from the competition.

 

• Im not Nicaraguan, nor am I living in Nicaragua - can I participate in the competition too?

 

Yes, absolutely. We accept video submissions from any country or culture. The more diverse creativity the better!

 

• Can I submit a video in English? 

 

Yes absolutely and we encourage it! One of our goals is to connect both Spanish speaking & English speaking cultures.

 

• Can I share Casa Creadores post of my video?

 

Yes absolutely - We encourage it! Once we post your video to any Casa Creadores social media site, we encourage you and your family & friends to Like, Share, Subscribe & Comment on the Casa Creadores' post of your video as many times and places as possible (in the next 30 days) to boost your chances of winning. This is how you capture the algorithm's attention to boost your video worldwide.

• I received an email saying my video was declined. Why did my video get rejected?

 

There are several reasons why a video can be declined, some of which are enforced by the social media platforms themselves and some due to our guidelines such as: bad language, sexually explicit content, alcohol/drugs, etc. - read more about our guidelines here. Also, incomplete or inaccurate applications will be immediately rejected.

 

• Casa Creadores reposted my video in a compilation video. It was was edited and used as a short promo video for the competition as well. Do these views and likes from this reposted video(s) count toward my final view count?

 

No, your official 'views and likes' count derives solely from the original Casa Creadores posting of your video onto TikTok. Any additional views & likes from other platforms will only be considered in the case of a tie for the top 10 finalists.

• It's January 9th, 2023 and the competition ends in 3 days… can I still apply and submit my video for the competition?

 

Yes, absolutely - it's never too late to go viral, show the world your talents, and capture the judges attention with your video at the last minute. Go for it! The world wants to see what you've created.

• Who are the 3 independent judges?

 

They will be announced soon on @CasaCreadores Instagram page. We are hoping for well known locals & famous content creators to judge the competition for us - Send us your suggestions.

 

• When will I know if I'm a Top 20 Finalist?

 

We will announce the Top 20 Semi-Finalists midnight on January 12th, 2023 via our website and on all of our social media pages so everyone has a final 3 days to promote their videos in hopes of becoming a Top 10 Finalist & Grand Prize Winner - Announced on Sunday, January 15th 2023!

 

• Can I apply if I'm already a Professional Youtuber/Content Creator/Photographer/Videographer?

 

Yes, everyone…beginner to professional content creators are encouraged to apply,  Please Note: If you have more than 5,000 subscribers, contact us at casacreadores@gmail.com ASAP with the subject line "PRO Content Creator". We'd like to talk to you about advertising, collaborations, joining our team and/or possible future independent contracting income opportunities.

 

• Are Views, Likes, Shares & Comments the ONLY determining factors to becoming a competition finalist?

 

No - creativity, content, originality, humor, editing style, camera angles, subject matter and overall theme to the video determines the top 20 finalists and the overall winner of the Grand Prize.
